F. Luis Buentello
Owner and President

Luis is a highly accomplished senior executive with over 20 years of global HR expertise. As the President and Owner of Beacon Associates, LLC, he has demonstrated his exceptional leadership and business acumen. Formerly serving as the Executive Vice President HR, EH&S Panasonic Lighting Americas (Universal Lighting Technologies), Luis has a strong educational background, holding a BA in Political Science from the University of Houston, an MS in Organization and Management from Capella University, and an MS in Human Resource Development from Villanova University.

Luis is also distinguished as a Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR) by the Human Resource Certification Institute, as well as a SHRM-Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).

Beyond his extensive manufacturing experience, he contributes as an Adjunct Professor at Villanova University’s Graduate Program in Human Resources Development and the University of Maryland.

Elizabeth A. Cruz
Vice President

Elizabeth is an accomplished executive with a proven track record of success in the private and public sectors.  She brings extensive experience recruiting at managerial levels in Human Resources, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Engineering, Quality, Information Technology, Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Manufacturing Management, as well as assessing organizational needs and developing training programs for local and global employees.

Elizabeth is a Certified SHRM-Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP). Her experience in multicultural and global environments helps her rapidly understand clients’ needs and match the right talent with the right opportunity.

She has held various managerial positions throughout her career, including Assistant Director of Organizational Development and H.R. at the City of Brownsville, Materials Inventory Control and Quality Manager at Da-Lite (A Legrand company) as well as Director of Customer Service, Corporate H.R. Manager and Quality Manager at Panasonic Lighting Americas (ULT)
